Is the candle worth the game?
One thing you need to understand is that I do not like traveling. I have lived all over the world, and for four years I did nothing but travel incessantly. But now I just want to stay home. So these trips are a burden on me. But I bear this burden willingly, unceasingly, and without complaint because my sweet ever loving likes to visit new places.
The worst part of any trip for me is the “traveling” part. Going to the airport, putting your life in the hands of complete strangers, waiting in lines that will inevitably lead you to an uncomfortable situation for which you have spent an inordinate amount of money to do things that are probably better left to others.
Ah, but then there I am. To see the “Perro sobre las arenas” to eat paella in Barcelona, to have a nice pink Bandol in Provence. Don’t tell my better half, but sometimes, just occasionally, the candle is worth the game.
