First Hours

Our arrival in Madrid was totally uneventful. Well, until we got stuck behind a pack of naked bicyclists. We are not sure what they were protesting, but I can guess that they were some sort of a “Green” group. PJ O’Rouke did a good essay once about how The Left and The Greens love to have naked protests. Not sure why…

There also seems to have been some “Fútbol” game on here in town. The Green Guys (Real Betis) must have won, because they all seemed happy. The Red Guys (Real Madrid?) did not seem nearly so happy. But they are all getting drunk and loud. We are staying away from those bars tonight.
